October 17, 2007 - Without even having started to market our freeware UpdateStar to media and download portals it is very exciting for us to see all the reviews showing up. Although our software is still BETA and available in English and German language versions, we have been please to receive a plethora of positive reviews in a multitude of languages (though we are not always exactly sure what the reviews are saying).

These languages include Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Israeli, Swedish, Romanian, Japanese, Polish, Norwegian, Ukrainian, Chinese, and Vietnamese to name a few. These early reviews regarding UpdateStar led visitors from more than 100 countries to our website within the first three weeks of the first UpdateStar Beta version going public.

For this reason, a great thank you goes out to all UpdateStar users volunteering and currently submitting more than 200 updates and fixes daily by using the "Send update" Button within UpdateStar. These community-based contributions by users and for users are essential in building and maintaining the UpdateStar database. Thank you!
