September 26, 2007 - The UpdateStar Team today released the first public Beta version of UpdateStar, the new time-saving one-stop information place for the user's software setup. UpdateStar lets computer users easily stay up-to-date with all of their personal software on their computer.

This Beta version gives UpdateStar users a first look on UpdateStar. The UpdateStar database is currently in "learning modus" and updated several times a day. So please be patient, if UpdateStar does not yet recognize most of your programs.

As an UpdateStar user you are invited to help all others UpdateStar users, if you find an Update that gets not correctly recognized yet by UpdateStar. Simply use the "Send Update" link in a product details section within UpdateStar. This way other users profit from your input as a user.

Please be aware that a beta is for preview purposes only. It is not the final product and does not contain all the features yet.
